Lyndsey Halliwell, 30, snuck the booze into her bag when she went to pay smaller items at a checkout.
The mum was caught when she returned to try the same tactic to steal six more bottles five days later, ChronicleLive reports.
North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court heard a suspicious cashier raised the alarm and she was also identified as the culprit for the first theft.
Halliwell, of Kenton, Newcastle, was ordered to pay £132 compensation after she pleaded guilty to one count of shop theft and one of attempted shop theft.
Prosecutor, Leanne Duffy, said Halliwell first entered the Aldi store, in Fawdon, Newcastle, on August 13 last year.
